The main idea behind my zine was about photography and how I use it to slow down and appreciate the little things in our busy life. The subject that I chose to show this was my recent trip to Europe, with each section being a different city that we visited. I created a series of symbols to represent each photo to create focus on the minimalism relating to the message. I also brought the message into the zine through the content layout. I made it very restrictive and slow moving, allowing and forcing readers to have to live with each piece of content on its own. This makes readers stop and appreciate it more as there's nothing else fighting for attention.
